Helen Trott is a highly skilled leader with 30 years experience of developing and implementing relationship management strategies both in the UK and internationally and a proven track record of taking relationship management operations from start-up and building successful programmes and teams. She joined Brakeley (formerly Mira Kelly) in 2016.
Between 2000 – 2016, Helen was the Director of Development, Alumni Relations & Events at Kingston University, the largest provider of higher education in south-west London and renowned for the breadth of its academic offer and long history of training graduates for the professions, eg law, engineering, teaching and healthcare.
Between 1987 – 2000, Helen worked with the British Council, the UK’s foremost organisation for the development of bilateral relations in science, education and the art, at HQ in the UK, in Russia and Germany.
In her early career, Helen worked as a research scientist and in technology transfer for the food and agricultural industries, including with a European consultancy providing research and insight for mergers, acquisitions and business development opportunities.
Helen holds a 1st class BSc (Hons) degree in Biochemistry and PhD in Cereal Biochemistry from the University of London. She is functional in French, German and Russian languages.
